It had been listed previously with the LF drivers and HF horn, too, I think. The HF horn is listed separately now.

Interesting the Klipsch La Scala uses that same V shaped front....but not the ports in the rear that the Western shows.

Yes, the Shearer 'W' fold concept was popular until fairly recently, though those rear cavities are just that since the driver chamber is sealed, so as shown without its normal baffle 'wings' to lower its LF corner frequency these should be densely stuffed to damp them from audibly 'tooting'.Originally Posted by Leland

Indeed! Never knew a > (18) cell horn was ever produced. The patience/skill required to build such a 'beast' goes well beyond the norm, so I imagine one of the rarest horns in existence.

Yeah that's what I figured. A real museum piece. Wanted to see what it was selling for.

$2K for the bass bin seems steep, you could have one built for less (I think).
But prices are funny. I just got off a show for Ingersoll-Rand. Even their smallest compressed air chain hoists retails for $2K - compressed air source not included!
So that sort of puts good old vintage pro audio in prescriptive. Commercial/Industrial gear is $$$.
